Support me as I walk to end Alzheimer's!
Alzheimer's disease took the center out of our family and left us heartbroken and empty.
My husband Tom died on April 2, 2007 from complications of this horrible diease. Tom had been diagnosed only 3 years earlier. Altho the onset probably came a couple of years before that - but none of the family recognized any of the symptoms. Would you?
Imagine the disbelief I felt the day I heard the words " I'm sure it's Alzheimer's". Now imagine the shock that I had when after weeks and months of reading, calling and researching many sites, I learned there is not a cure!
I'm asking you to do one or all three of the steps below to help me make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's.
* If you or someone you love are experiencing any of these warning signs (change in mood & personality, poor judgment; unable to plan or solve problems, unable to complete a familiar task) see your doctor today!
